So Right now I was just playing the 1-Hour Trial of Catherine, the game, and I just have to say that is a damn good one. I know, the game has been out for months but if you read the previous blogs or whatever you wish to call them I said that I want to buy the whole Deluxe bundle and not just the game, I don’t know I just want it okay?
Anyhow, the game is awesome, I loved it — though it was just an hour and I got only to Stage 3 out of all the puzzles I was hooked and I wanted to play more, have to buy it, shit. aha.
If you are a puzzle person I highly recommend it, if not you can try it but be warn even in Easy the puzzles still have their tricky side to them so be careful on every move you make or else you’ll just be playing a game that will most likely make you rage, trust me.
Although I didn’t play that much of it for now I did experience enough to say I can give it a little rating.
Graphics were epic, the cut scenes were cool due to them being like an anime, the whole texting thing I believe that’s new and unique to games, and the whole overall game was awesome — though when it comes to the whole puzzle adventure, for those who don’t like puzzles like stated, it could be a whole adventure trying to complete them even if they are in easy, trust me.
Overall I’ll give the game a 4.5/5 just because some people will protest if I give it a Five and besides, wasn’t planning on it either, though I love puzzles and all the whole format this game has, although I liked it, it could be tricky and frustrating, I found myself dying multiple times.
So, if you haven’t tried Catherine, the game, I highly recommend to try it out or buy it.
